You can choose between three file systems for disk partitions on a computer running Windows 2000/XP/Vista: NTFS, FAT, and FAT32. Use the information below to compare the file systems. NTFS is the recommended file system for the following reasons: Important: The following table describes the compatibility of each file system with various operating systems. The following table compares disk and file sizes possible with each file system. Volumes much larger than 2 terabytes (TB) are possible. Cannot be used on floppy disks. Does not support domains. In Does not support domains. Note:
Whether a partition is formatted with NTFS or converted using the convert command, NTFS is the better choice of file system. For more information about Convert.exe, after completing Setup, click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then press ENTER. In the command window, type help convert and then press ENTER.
There is one situation in which you might want to choose FAT or FAT32 as your file system. If it is necessary to have a computer that will sometimes run an earlier version of Windows and other times run Windows 2k/XP/Vista, you will need to have a FAT or FAT32 partition as the primary (or startup) partition on the hard disk. Most earlier versions of Windows cannot access a partition if it uses the latest version of NTFS. The two exceptions are Windows 2000 and Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 4 or later. Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 4 or later has access to partitions with the latest version of NTFS, but with some limitations: It cannot access files that have been stored using NTFS features that did not exist when Windows NT 4.0 was released. For anything other than a situation with multiple operating systems, however, the recommended file system is NTFS.
NTFS FAT FAT32 A computer running Access is available through Access is available only through
NTFS FAT FAT32 Recommended minimum volume size is approximately 10 megabytes (MB). Volumes from floppy disk size up to 4 gigabytes (GB). Volumes from 512 MB to 2 TB. File size limited only by size of volume. Maximum file size is 2 GB. Maximum file size is 4 GB.

Now a days usb devices are common.USB flash drives, Card reader, hard drives and so on to make our life easy. But they have a negative side also which is spreading Viruses.
All over the world (specially in Pakistan and India) USB devices are the source of spreading viruses. Even antivirus software's are unable to stop and remove them (e.g Symantec). These virus are real headache. They disable Task Manger, Folder Options, Regedit, run command etc. So there is a need for such type of software which can stop these. So I brought a software for you.
USB Firewall blocks all virus and other willful programs that try to spread in your system when an USB device is inserted. The application runs in background task and alerts you immediately in case of try of intrusion. You can stop the program and delete the file associated with. USB Firewall doesn’t need any virus definition update. USB FireWall can too clean your hard disk partition from auto launched application.
USB Firewall is an application which protects you from all malicious programs which try to launch itself as soon as an USB device is inserted. It will inform you if ever a such program exists in your USB peripherals. You can remove the malicious file and the file autorun.inf associated with just one click.
As soon as USB Firewall is launching, it works in background task, its window is shown only when one program tries to launch out automatically from an USB peripheral.
USB Firewall is a freeware and its functionality is limited, if ever the malicious program is already present in your system, it tries to stop it but a patch or an Antivirus program is much more adapted to this kind of problem.
USB Firewall can too clean all your partitions for auto launched Application from partition by deleting autorun.inf file and its associated application.

Windows 7 is…
the next release of the Windows client operating system, built on the secure foundation of Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. Performance, reliability, security, and compatibility are core tenets of this release as we collect your feedback to meet our engineering goals of making Windows 7 the best-performing and most stable Windows operating system to date. New innovations in the product are designed to augment your ability as an IT professional to better provision and manage increasingly mobile PCs, protect data, and improve both end-user and personal productivity.
You may see screenshots of Windows 7 Here.
For a limited time, Microsoft is making this pre-release version of Windows 7 available to the first 2.5 million people who download. Ready to take a test drive? You can get one by trying the Windows 7 Beta. We think you’ll have the best experience if:
Microsoft isn’t providing technical support for the Beta and isn’t responsible for business-related downtime. Don’t install the Beta on your primary home or work computer. When the Beta expires on August 1, 2009, you’ll need to reinstall a released version of Windows to keep using your computer. (See Installation Instructions.)
These are the Microsoft minimum hardware recommendations for systems that will be running the Windows 7 Beta. These recommendations are specific to the beta release and are subject to change:
Note: Some product features of Windows 7, such as the ability to watch and record live TV or navigation through the use of “touch”, may require advanced or additional hardware.
